Our Leadership

Betina Nygaard, Chief Executive Officer

Betina Nygaard is the CEO of Scanmarket leading the sales, product development and operations functions as well as guiding the company’s overall strategy and vision.

Betina has been with Scanmarket since 2001 in various, assuming the CEO role in 2008. During this period, Scanmarket has seen sustained growth exceeding 20 % per year.

Prior to Scanmarket, Betina worked with several Danish manufacturers leading sales, alliance and operations management roles in the furniture and textile industries. She graduated from Aarhus University in 1992 and speaks fluent Danish, English and German.

Henrik Balslev, Chief Commercial Officer

Henrik Balslev is responsible for Scanmarket's global sales, consultancy and customer services. He has been with Scanmarket since 2006 in various roles including Senior Vice President of Operations, then assuming his current role as Chief Commercial Officer in 2020. Henrik has a masters in International Business from Aarhus University.

Henrik Leerberg, Chief Marketing Officer

As Scanmarket's Chief Marketing Officer, Henrik oversees all marketing activities globally by fueling growth and creating value for both existing and new customers. Henrik has worked in the software and electronics industry throughout his entire career, operating in B2B markets. With more than 25 years of leadership experience from a range of software companies, Henrik has built a solid foundation for broad businesses within all aspects from engineering over marketing and sales to administration.

Henrik holds degrees in Marketing and Business Administration and in Electrical Engineering. When he is not working, Henrik is a talented photographer, enjoys scuba diving, bicycling and is very involved in and passionate about the well-being of our ocean climate.

Jesper Dalum, Chief Financial Officer

Jesper Dalum started as Chief Financial Officer at Scanmarket in 2020. He has managed the global finance team since 2016 from Scanmarket's global headquarters in Denmark and has worked as an external management consultant with focus on financial processes and ERP upgrade projects.

Jesper has 20 years of experience within finance and management. He has gathered his experience in finance from multiple industries, including production, development, audio, management and controlling.

When Jesper isn't working, he coaches three soccer teams or enjoys spending time at home surrounded by his four daughters and wife. He has a graduate diploma in business administration from Aarhus University/Aarhus School of Business.

Thomas Kjærulff, Chief Technical Officer

Thomas manages the development of Scanmarket's software products and IT organization. With a background in software engineering, he has worked in the agri-food, communication, and automotive-industries before joining Scanmarket in 2021. He has broad experience in digitization, integration and automation of systems and processes.

With 15+ years of management experience, Thomas is highly motivated by setting up customers and employees for success steering the organization into the future. Outside the office, Thomas creates music on his overcompensating collection of synthesizers, supports his son's soccer team and enjoys life with his family.

David McMinn, VP North American Operations

David McMinn is responsible for Scanmarket's North America Sales and Operations.

David started his career with AutoZone where he spent 14 years in various roles from operating stores to leading the Sourcing department. Then he spent 5 years at Office Depot as VP of Sourcing and 2 years each at Office Max and Unisource as VP of Sourcing. David was also a partner with a start-up company, Manage Mobility for 13 years, before selling to Peak-Ryzex, here he served as SVP North American Operations.

David has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Almeda University.

Glenn Danielsen, Director of Strategic Alliances

Glenn Danielsen is the Director of Strategic Alliances at Scanmarket, an industry leading source-to-contract provider known for its ease of use and expert support. He has been with Scanmarket since 2007 working in various sales and consultancy roles. He is a great relationship builder who creates strong commercial alliances with customers and serves as the link between customers and the development division. 

Glenn holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Master’s degree in International Business from the University in Aarhus.  

Dan Gianfreda, Director of Customer Success

Dan Gianfreda is Director of Customer Success. He has worked in the eSourcing market since 2011, and joined Scanmarket in 2016.

Dan is very passionate about helping organizations transform their Source-to-Contract operations and maximize their results, and believes that the most important support begins, rather than ends, at system implementation. With that in mind, he and the Customer Success Team devised the SuccessPlus framework, which is designed to not just support, but to drive customers to excellent adoption, digital maturity and ROI with the Scanmarket system.

Prior to Scanmarket, Dan was Head of Account Management for a UK based eSourcing provider, where he was responsible for re-building the Account Management function. He successfully, and significantly, increased customer satisfaction and retention by ensuring that customers were fully and pro-actively supported throughout their entire eSourcing journey.

Dan has a first class honors degree in Psychology from Northumbria University.

Dan is a massive foodie and loves to enjoy delicious food (and wine) from all over the world with the people he loves.

Mille A. Høst, Sr. Director of Consultancy & Product Owner

Mille Albæk Høst is Scanmarket's Senior Director of Consultancy & Product Owner. Since she joined our team in 2011 Mille has been part of every aspect of Scanmarket's consultancy across every module of the platform including training, supplier management, strategy, Fully-managed events, implementation, customer support and product roadmap development among others.

Prior to Scanmarket, she was part of the Sourcing Excellence group at Vestas Wind Systems. As Director of Consultancy and Product Owner, Mille is focusing her efforts on bringing an analytical and execution mindset to the entire team to help Scanmarket's customers meet their sourcing goals and drive results.

Mille has a Masters of Science in Information Technology Management from Aalborg University.
