A Scanmarket Customer Case

Savings are important, but best practice learning is the true benefit.

Challenge

 

DFDS, one of Northern Europe’s largest logistics and ferry operators, already had Scanmarket’s eAuction and eRFx applications in place, but they were not in use.  To increase adoption internally a team of super users were trained and ready to lead change within the company. Unfortunately, COVID then hit and diminished the influence of the super users.

Solution

The team decided to use Scanmarket’s Fully Managed eAuction support, where all eAuctions were set up and run by Scanmarket and enabling DFDS to establish and learn best practices.

 

Result

 

Although the team has not been able to run eAuctions independently yet, they have benefited greatly from the knowledge they’ve gained, and have saved a lot of time as they have been able to close projects much earlier.
