The global purchasing team at Nomad Foods needed an e-sourcing platform to purchase a wide variety of products including ingredients for food production, additives, dairy products, oil, and spices.
Solution
Scanmarket’s eSourcing platform was widely embraced across the procurement team at Nomad Foods. They began by running an eRFx where suppliers provided quotes and other relevant information. After qualifying suppliers through eRFx, Nomad Foods typically proceeded with a final e-auction. After a successful event was built, they used it as a template to save time and ensure the proper information was being acquired with each subsequent event.
Result
Nomad Foods has been able to save a lot of time re-negotiating annual contracts in one centralized location; results are easily digestible through centralized reporting with Excel export capability. They have also taken advantage of Scanmarket’s Quick Call support and reported it as the best customer support they’ve ever experienced.
